Bristol

Some photos from Bristol, on the Saturday of my tour. Mostly from Bristol Zoo. Please correct me if I've misremembered the animals...

Hostel.jpg (thumbnail)The Youth Hostel where I stayed - a converted warehouse...
Watershed.jpg (thumbnail)The Watershed - a little Arts complex with a nice bar and two cinema screens and the like, near my Hostel. I saw Elling and it was dead good.
Crepe_van.jpg (thumbnail)At the end of the quay I was on. The Crepe van did whipped cream and Maltesers crepes as a special on the Friday - completely evil, but very yummy nonetheless.
Aldabran_tortoise.jpg (thumbnail)A 70-ish-year-old Aldabran tortoise. Very big.
Iguana.jpg (thumbnail)An iguana.
Python.jpg (thumbnail)A python.
Crocodile.jpg (thumbnail)A dwarf/pygmy/... crocodile/alligator. Very toothy.
Pigeon1.jpg (thumbnail)A rare species of pigeon apparently...
Pigeon2.jpg (thumbnail)...but not so rare on my film.
Egrets.jpg (thumbnail)Some Egrets.
Turtles.jpg (thumbnail)Some Turtles.
Meerkat1.jpg (thumbnail)A Meerkat
Meerkat2.jpg (thumbnail)...the same one...
Meerkat3.jpg (thumbnail)...stayed on lookout...
Meerkats_and_robin.jpg (thumbnail)...while other dug. Uninvited wildlife, too...
Clifton_1.jpg (thumbnail)The Clifton Suspension Bridge...
Clifton_2.jpg (thumbnail)...would make a good panorama...
Clifton_3.jpg (thumbnail)...if I knew some good panorama-making software. Any suggestions?
